Brief Biography Bob Lenz graduated from Freeport High School in 1954, worked his way through college and law school at the University of Illinois and has been actively engaged in the practice of law and community activities in Bloomington-Normal since 1963. In 1965, he was a co-founder of Heartland Head Start in Bloomington-Normal. He is a past president of the Abraham Lincoln Association and the David Davis Mansion Foundation, member of the Advisory Board of the Papers of Abraham Lincoln, the Advisory Board of the Lincoln Forum in Gettysburg, and founding Chairman, Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission of McLean County, among other historical boards and committees. He is past President, McLean County Bar Association. Bob and Peggy live on a horse farm in McLean County, Illinois.
